Privacy by Design

Built to validate stores — never to watch individuals.

In Waeyo, privacy is an architecture decision, not a setting. The system is designed so that what reaches HQ is commercial sales signals and execution insight — not recordings, transcripts or individual profiles.

Six principles, built into the architecture.

  • Store-level aggregation

Results can be reported for stores instead of individuals. What HQ then sees is how consistently a store executes — aggregated data from all individuals as one team.

  • No recordings kept

Only sales execution signals are extracted and kept — no recordings, no transcripts.

  • Patterns, not identities

Processing focuses on interaction patterns and commercial signals — greeting, needs discovery, recommendation — not on who said what.

  • Secured hardware

Devices are encrypted and access-controlled. There is no content feed to browse.

  • Data minimisation

The system keeps the minimum needed to validate store execution — aggregated signals, not content.

  • No individual surveillance

The solution is not intended for individual staff surveillance. The default configuration focuses on sales execution and performances metrics.

From shop floor to store insight.

  1. Capture on the shop floor

Sales execution signals are picked up from real customer interactions, on encrypted, access-controlled devices.

  2. Processing focuses on patterns

Interaction patterns and commercial signals are extracted — no recordings, no transcripts.

  3. Aggregation at store level

Signals can be combined into store-level execution patterns; individual conversations are not the unit of reporting.

  4. Store insight for HQ

Leadership sees store execution patterns, gaps against stronger-store benchmarks, and improvement priority for each store or staff member.

The lines the product does not cross.

Waeyo does not report on individual employees, and it is not intended for individual staff surveillance. It does not keep recordings or transcripts of conversations, and it is not designed to provide disciplinary evidence about a specific person or interaction. The product exists to give stores a behaviour improvement focus — validating how the store executes as a team, against the standard HQ has defined and the benchmarks its own strongest stores set.

Designed to help teams improve — not to catch people out.

For a store or a particular team member, Waeyo means one thing: clarity. The store sees how its execution compares with the network's strongest performers and receives a single, focused improvement priority — not a list of infractions. Team members, on the other hand, see how their performance improves day by day and contributes to the team's overall success.

Every market is different. Deployment reflects that.

Privacy expectations and legal requirements differ between countries and deployment contexts. Staff or storefront notification may be required depending on the deployment location, and country-specific legal and privacy review may be required before rollout. Waeyo supports this process and works with your legal, compliance and HR teams during scoping — it is part of how every pilot begins.

Waeyo does not make blanket compliance claims. Suitability is assessed per market as part of deployment planning.

Bring your compliance questions to the demonstration.

Privacy, legal and HR stakeholders are welcome in the room. We would rather answer the hard questions on day one.
